HTM DLIC is a versatile, compact and simple to maintain level indicator with integral level control function. The instrument can be mounted at any location & is suitable for the indication of water level inside ground or elevated reservoirs. The unit is housed in an IP68 rated polycarbonate enclosure with transparent cover for level display on a 3 digit 46mm LED. The super bright LED enable contrasting display of level reading under bright sunlight. Volt-free control output with LED indicating lights via easy to replace relay is available in the unit for the control of pumps. The instrument sensor is made of SS304 which is compatible with any non corrosive fluid. It has low power consumption & can be powered by a 12V solar panel.

Features

  • Large & Bright LED Readout DLIC consists of a 3-digit 46mm height super bright LED display for the display of water depth in the reservoir. This display can be easily read even under bright sunlight. In addition, a 13mm height LED display is embedded inside the enclosure for calibration purposes.
  • Flexible Power Supply DLIC without a built-in battery can be powered by a 12V to 30V DC power supply unit when the voltage of the replaceable plug-in relay is selected accordingly. However, a unit with a built-in 12V battery can only be powered by a 12V solar panel or 12V battery charger system.
  • Ease of Zero Reference Level Offset Upon installation, the zero level reference can be easily offset by adjusting the offsetting knob located on the instrument.
  • Ease of High & Low Control Set Point The setting of start/stop levels can be easily configured by performing low & high level set points in the setting menu. Set point indication is visible through green & red LED lights on the front display. No complicated procedure is needed.
  • Flexible & Easy Installation DLIC digital level indicating controller can be mounted in any location irrespective of its static level difference from the bottom water level of the reservoir measured. The DLIC will display actual water depth in the reservoir to any reference level. The level sensing can be done easily through the connection of tubing to the pressure tapping point located at the scour pipe.
  • Isolation for Surge Protection HTM DLIC digital level indicating controller is truly designed for a tropical environment where lightning surge is a major destructive factor in instrumentation systems. The DLIC is designed to be powered by a solar panel with a backup battery included in the enclosure. Alternatively, a standard power supply unit can be used to power the instrument. The control output is isolated with the external circuitry through the use of an externally mounted, replaceable plug-in relay. Both power supply & control output are isolated from external surges in the event of lightning.
  • Ease of Maintenance Since DLIC digital level indicating controllers are installed at ground level, maintenance works can be carried out easily via setting of the instrument at ground level. No cutting of electrodes or climbing of reservoirs is needed.
  • Humidity/Dew Immunity The major electronic components of the DLIC digital level indicating controller are potted with a moisture-repelling compound. This eliminates the risk of electronic failure due to humidity.

Application

HTM DLIC digital level indicating controller consists of a hydrostatic level sensor which detects the hydrostatic forces of the liquid for which it is measuring. The sensor converts the pressure exerted on the sensor diaphragm into an electrical signal which is then scaled and conditioned into a level signal. Facility is included in DLIC to offset static level difference in order to obtain actual water depth inside the reservoir.
